DNA’s 41st Annual Convention

DNA is an Agent of Change at our 41st Annual Convention!
Join us either in person at the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa in Savannah, GA, or virtually on February 7-9, 2023 for General Sessions that focus on Professional Development/Research; Surgical/Cutaneous Oncology; Medical/Pediatric; and Aesthetics topics. Also offered in-person or virtually is our Nurse Practitioner Forum on February 8-9, 2023 which provides up-to-date topics to meet the needs of the advanced dermatology practitioner. There are also two core curriculum workshops offered in person only on February 6, 2023. We hope you will join us as we change you and your future!
Learning Outcome
At the end of this three-day convention, learners will demonstrate an understanding of the objectives of each attended session by receiving a passing score of 70% or higher on each post-test, and complete session and convention overall learning evaluations.
Goals & Objectives
- Meet educational needs through dermatologic educational programs based on feedback from previous conventions, educational needs assessment, evidence-based practice, current guidelines, therapies, and research.
- Provide workshop opportunities to meet the specific needs of special interest groups.
- Provide an avenue for networking, mentoring, and socializing to enhance the professional growth of members.
- Promote interest in dermatology-related fields, including safety, ethics, research, clinical testing, publishing, management, and advocacy to advance dermatologic care.
The target audience is nurse practitioners, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, medical assistants, other healthcare providers, and staff who are specialized and/or have an interest in dermatology.
Continuing Education Information
The Dermatology Nurses’ Association is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Attendees may earn up to 18 contact hours for main convention sessions and up to 12 contact hours for the Nurse Practitioner Forum sessions. (Pharmacotherapeutic credits TBD: earned for sessions containing pharmacotherapeutics).
DNA is a group member of AANP, which entitles NP members to $10 off their membership dues. Group #0503263.
