Scott Norton is a Professor of Dermatology at both George Washington University and the Uniformed Services University, both in the Washington, DC, area. He was a career medical officer in the US Army and served as Chief of Dermatology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. After his military retirement, he established a Pediatric Dermatology Service at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, where he helped train pediatric and dermatology residents from all of teaching programs in the DC area. He is a consultant in Dermatology and in Tropical Medicine to the State Department, the Peace Corps, and the CDC – and has worked on health projects in roughly 20 countries.
